This was a fun and busy week for Lauren as we had something scheduled almost every day (Tuesday: dinner with Moore's at Bonefish. Wednesday: first taste of peas. Thursday: Birthday dinner at Captain Anderson's. Friday: hosted party at Crystal Lake. Saturday: FSU football at Grandaddy's house. Sunday: Holly Fair, met Santa Claus and Mr. Huckabee. Monday: trip to Ft. Walton Beach). But LEB is her mommy and daddy's little girl and made it through with flying colors. She continues to be a sweet little girl and will smile at strangers when they talk to her, laughs when Eric does something silly or we tickle her under her arms, likes to play with new toys and loves to watch other children play. Don't get me wrong, she knows how to get her point across when she is unhappy, but for the most part she is a sweet little baby. I have been amazed at how much attention Lauren gets when we are out in public. EVERYBODY wants to stop and talk to the cute little baby girl with lots of big smiles.

Notice her bald spot...it's filling in! Slowly but surely.

Lauren has been doing really well with eating solids. We are having to do cereal (now oatmeal cereal) every other day with pear juice every day because of her little tummy. From 11/11-11/20, she has had peas, carrots, sweet potatoes, pears, and applesauce with her second favorites being sweet potatoes and peas and first favorite: breastmilk. If you were counting, yes, I'm starting a new food every 3 days to watch for allergic reactions. :-) And call me naive, but I didn't know feeding her food was going to be so messy! Even with a bib on! Oh well, another excuse for changing outfits! :-)

On the go travel: diaper change in the back seat.
(1st picture...somehow I can't get it moved down here.) We let her start chewing on a toothbrush during one of our trips to Eric's office....she loves it! It must feel so good to her constantly itching gums. Here she is holding on to her two most beloved items: her toothbrush and silver rattle.

She can reach the stuffed animals on her mobile now.

My 3 favorite girls ready to go out to eat for Gigi and Aunt Mel's birthday at Captain Anderson's.

Who loves Lauren! Gigi and Aunt Kay!

And Pops!

We helped give a dinner party for Whitney Carmichael and her fiance, Sam, at Crystal Lake Friday night. Lauren and Jackson had their own little party inside the house. Jackson is 2 pounds heavier and 1.5 inches longer.

Eric and Jackson.

The Wells' Belles with their favorite babies.

Aunt Madalene singing to Lauren on the deck at the lake.

Standing by the fire outside. Don't you like my hat?

I am happy to announce that Grandma and Pa Berry officially moved into their house this past Saturday! It was such a great day for everybody! We are so happy for them. I wanted to be able to help with the move, so Lauren visited with Grandaddy and Ganny while Eric and I were with Grandma and Pa. Lauren rode on the golf cart...

...and watched the FSU game on TV.

Lauren, Gigi and I went to Holly Fair. We strolled through most of the booths and bought some Christmas gifts and smocked clothes for Lauren (I just couldn't pass them up).

Lauren even got to meet Santa! She was in a good mood and had plenty of smiles for the camera! I was so proud and thougt she was the cutest little baby!!

We then went to Borders where we were surprised to find out that Mike Huckabee was there signing autographs for his new book. It was very neat to meet him.

On Monday, we drove to Ft. Walton Beach to take my car for routine service. We had brunch at the Donut Hole (yum)...

...walked around a marina...

...and shopped in Destin. Playing with Daddy while mommy tries on clothes at WHBM.
Until next week!
