On Thursday March 3, we went to St. George Island to the Annual Chili Cookoff. This was our 2nd year going to support Bailey's Mommy, Holly, and we were so excited about a fun weekend! The weather was a little cold and windy (Lauren couldn't walk on the beach on Friday because the wind kicked up the sand to a height above her head!) but it is beautiful there and we enjoyed being outside.
We stayed in a 7 bedroom house on the beach and Lauren got to have a long weekend spend-the-night party with Bailey, Anna, and Vivian! She loved it! Always someone to play with or watch a movie with! This week's favorite movie for the girls was "Tinkerbell". I bet they watched it 4 times this weekend.
Just hanging out on the hammock overlooking the Gulf.
Vivian's Mommy, Heather, is a natural teacher...can't you tell?!

This was LEB's first time walking on the beach barefoot this season, and she didn't like it!! We were shocked...and a little scared! We didn't want this to be the case for the entire year. So, we gradually helped her become accustomed to it again. It took a little while, but I think she'll be fine.

"Girls, I can see you under there!" says Lauren.
Lauren loved eating food this weekend, especially fruit. She climbed onto a chair and reached half way across the table to eat a piece of watermelon.

We had another great year in SGI and enjoyed lots of yummy chili, including Holly's! Can't wait to do it again next year!
