It only took 20 seconds or less and Kay tried to make it last as long as she could...
I don't think Lauren knew exactly what to think about all of this, but she liked the cape and felt comfortable knowing that Kay was doing it.
We took our little silver dish to collect the small amount of baby hair...you could almost count the individual pieces! But it was worth it and Lauren was a very good little client!
After Kay blow dried it, she said "That's all! What do you think, Lauren!?"
Thank you, Kay, for giving me my first haircut. Hopefully I can get another one in about 2 years.
Afterwards, we went to visit Grandaddy and Ganny. Lauren loves riding the golf cart...
and Grandaddy showed us all of his tomato plants. No fertilizer at all, he says!
That night, we spent the night in Chipley anticipating the high school graduation of Dustin. Thunderstorms and lightening started and the graduation was actually cancelled since it was on the football field! I'm sure this was a first! It was rescheduled for the next night but we couldn't stay because we had arranged to drive to Columbus, GA for Gabby Koagel's birthday party and spend the rest of the weekend with the Koagels.
I'll leave this week's entry with 2 pictures of LeB's personality... "The I'm Tired" look. Miss Heather texted this picture to me right before her lunch.
And "The Look at ME!" look!
