March 14-18, 2011 Wilder's World, Ticola Boys, and The Zoo!

A typical "Lauren Look" while riding in the car...both hands behind her head watching TV.
Lauren and Miss Heather went to Wilder's World this week while I was at work, one of LEB's favorite places to go.
She likes the bounce houses but right now she really likes the little toys in the toddler play area.
The Ticola's came to Carrillon Beach (just down the road from PCB) this week for vacation.  We went to Captain Anderson's for some good food.  Lauren loves playing with Evan (3) and Joel (2).  They play really good together and they're so sweet!  Both boys were so well behaved while we were at the restaurant.  They both ate their meal, played with their puzzles, people-watched and sat like good little boys for almost 2 hours.  Meanwhile, Lauren had to go outside twice and she didn't eat well...AND she had a movie going that she didn't watch.  Oh well. Hopefully we'll act like the Ticola boys soon...  :-)
Matt and Eric with Daphne's parents, Jorge and Nancy.

"Mommy, I think I need to go outside again!"

Excited to be at the Zoo with Miss Heather, Bailey, and Nanny Net!
Look at this!  Seriously!  She's feeding the goats!

Heather said that the giraffe kinda grossed her out and she never really touched it...
Happy St. Patrick's Day!  Playing in the tunnel at the prairie dog tunnel.
Evan went back to Ocala with his grandparents and Joel and Daphne stayed with a us a night before heading back to Alabama.  Lauren loved having Joel at her house to play.  She loves having a someone to constantly play with.
Watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse--glued to the TV.
 And eating lunch.
Playing at the park...
Sweet Joel!

This was Joel's favorite thing at the park.  He was so cute!  We hated to see them go, but we had a fun time while they were here!  Can't wait to see you again, Evan and Joel!

March 7-13, 2011

This weekend was Eric's long weekend, so he was off on Monday.  Lauren and I took him to our favorite park--Oakland Terrace Park.

On Sunday, we went to baby Taylor Kent Moore's baptism at Forest Park Methodist Church and to their house for a brunch.  Lauren loved being with Taylor's cousins, Emmy and Morgan. This was the only picture from the entire morning.  :-(  I put the camera in Lauren's lunch bag with the freezer pack and the coldness ran the battery down in no time.  Taylor was adorable though and Laura and Benny are very proud parents!
Later that afternoon, we went out on the boat.  This was Lauren's 1st big boat outing of the season and she was great!  She wore her life jacket and didn't seem to mind at all!  And she loved driving the boat with Daddy.
 "High Five, Lauren!"
We picked Bailey and her parents up at their neighbor's dock and Lauren soon fell asleep after we arrived to Shell Island.  We got to use her little tent and she took a good little nap on the boat.
Walking at Shell Island with Daddy.
 Bailey!

Ah...When you're at Shell Island, you forget you're still in the States.  It's so beautiful and looks like we should be in the Bahamas or the Caribbean.  Just beautiful.
