Week 22: Thanksgiving

THANKSGIVING 2009! Wow, do we ever have so much to be thankful! This time last year, I distinctly remember being thankful for a growing little baby inside my belly. This year, we are so thankful to have our little girl with us: healthy and happy! The 3 of us spent the day with family, friends, and delicious Southern food. :-)

We started our day at Aunt Madalene's where Lauren and Jackson got to be together. They are 5 months old now. Jackson is doing such a good job sitting up completely unassisted and is such a cutie! Both babies had their own Thanksgiving meal; Lauren's was sweet potato and pears. Yum!

After post-lunch visiting, we went to Aunt Mary Ann's house where we nibbled on more great food, visited, and played crochet outside. It was a pretty day outside, despite the chilly temperature and Lauren liked being on her blanket with her toys. Mommy liked the cooler weather because this meant that LEB could wear her adorable beenie and wool coat! :-)
