You can't tell in this picture, but Lauren has some major high-waters on! I consider her legs to be "short" and her torso to be long (just like Pa's). So, I have been thinking that 3-6 months pants fit her well despite the fact that she is 8 1/2 months old. Well, when I put the jeans on her at home and stood her up, she looked just fine. When we got to the game and she was sitting in Kellie's lap, poor baby was so embarrassed that her jeans almost came up to her knees! Amateur mommy...
"Hey, Emily! I like watching you play ball! Your mom sure does cheer for you really loud though!"
On Thursday, Lauren and I traveled to Graceville for a photo session at Maddox Photography with the 4 Berry Boys. It was a treat because there was going to be a live bunny involved with all 5 children in the picture...
Lauren looking on and waiting her turn to join the crew. All the kids did really well and I think we will be happy with the results. Can't wait to see the pictures!
We stopped back by Grandma's work for a visit...
...and then to Gigi and Pop's for another visit. Lauren gets NO attention, can't you tell!?!
And then we drove straight to PC Beach to meet Daddy at Guy Harvey's Restaurant for dinner and to listen to Mitchell and Matt's DJ business upstairs. Lauren had a good day, a full day, but was able to get in some good naps during all of the driving. She ended her day by waving to a table of teenage/college (I can't tell any more how old people are) boys at the table next to us at Guy Harvey's!! Seriously!! We had partially forgotten how busy/crowded/crazy Spring Break at PCB can be...now our sweet little baby dressed in her Sunday's finest after pictures with a bunny has now experienced it. Moving on...

Saturday afternoon was spent at Rosemary Beach with Bailey, Christian, and Noah. Spring is almost here and we can feel it!
Puffs Free-for-All on the blanket

Saturday night we enjoyed a delicious steak dinner with the Baby Club. Vivian gave all the girls this rider toy for Christmas and I didn't think that Lauren was ready for it yet...mommy was wrong again!! She played on Bailey's and loved it! I think that she felt like a big girl.
So...the next day we got Lauren's out of the box. Here she is watching Daddy put it together.
"Lauren, make sure you wear your seatbelt and stop at all yellow lights!"
The blurry arms depict just how excited she really was. :-)

Sunday morning, she woke up with a serious bout of stuffy nose, sneazing, watery eyes, slight allergic shiners and just generalized fussiness.
We kept playing though and kept practicing how to stand.
Poor little Lauren. I took her to the doctor the next day in hopes of stopping any brewing ear infection in its tracks. Constant bulb syringe suctioning was becoming a bear. We found out that she was not infected at all but rather had severe allergies to all of the pollen and blooming trees. It was good to know that she didn't have an infection and we were started on "1/2 strength Afrin" x 3 days (her left nostril was completely closed), saline irrigation multiple times per day, Nasonex Nasal Spray in the morning and were told to continue with the Cool Mist Humidifier/Vicks Vapor Rub/Suctioning. We did an extra measure and took her to Eric's office and ran the suctioning device up her nose (note to self...don't do that again, she didn't like it at all!).

I'm sure with all of our dental/nursing treatments, she'll be back to her old self in no time. :-)
Until then, have a good week!!!
