We left Bailey's birthday party and went straight to the Berry Kid's Easter Egg Hunt at Connie's house! This would be LeB's 1st year of hunting for eggs! The mama was super excited!
All of the boys had fun fishing in the pond
and Lauren enjoyed watching them. I'm sure it won't be too many more years and she'll want to be in the boat with them!
Eric gave me a very early Birthday present--a new camera! Nikon D90 with 2 lenses...so far I'm just shooting from "auto" but I hope to really learn how to use its MANY functions!

So many eggs to carry...how can I make this easier?!
Oh yes, she did! And it was her own idea...no one prompted her!

We have a little secret to share...but not until Easter Day!

Our family...just the 4 of us!
Lauren absolutely love being around her 4 cousins...but especially Ethan (5).
Giving Ethan a hug...he's such a good sport and sweetie
We are so excited (and still a little surprised) to announce that we are going to have another baby!! We're almost 11 weeks along and things are going very well and healthy! We informed our parents 7 weeks ago of our news and swore them to secrecy until we knew that everything was going to be okay. By this week, we already had 4 ultrasounds and it seemed perfect to share news of new life on Easter Sunday with our aunts, uncles, and grandparents.
Everyone was gathered in Grandma's kitchen to start the Egg Hunt and we told Aunt Jeannie that Lauren had a little present for her--an egg with a 10 week ultrasound picture in it!
Everyone was so happy for us and it felt so good to spread the good news.
After spending lunch with Grandma and Pa, we went to Gigi and Pops' house to visit with Grandaddy and Ganny. Lauren gave Grandaddy his Egg Gift and he said "Lauren, that's a baby! That's you when YOU were a baby!" He just kept saying this and Lauren kept pointing to the picture and saying "baby, baby".
Ganny said "Tricia's pregnant!"
And it still didn't quite settle in! "What?! Is this a new picture?!"
"Oh, I can't believe it!"
After another look at the ultrasound, I think it started to settle in.
And then tired Lauren had a melt down...
until Kay came to the rescue and started having fun with her

We had a wonderful Easter Weekend: spent the night with Grandma and Pa, went to church at FBC Chipley, lunch at Grandma's, visiting with relatives, announcing our exciting news that we're going to be a family of 4 in November 2011, and celebrating the resurrection of Jesus--the one event in history that made this wonderful weekend take place.
