Today was the last day of the 2nd two week session of swim lessons with Mr. Bill. We've spent the past two weeks at The Averett's home learning how to use our arms and feet together and how to pull our head out of the water for a breath of air and then go back down to swim some more. Lauren really started to make great progress towards the end of the class with using her arms in long strokes while kicking. Mr. Bill found the right phrase that she finally understood: "Reach...and pull". His nickname for her was "Mermaid".

On Sunday afternoon, we met The Melzer's and strolled around Seaside and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Hot, yes, but pretty!
