Gabby's Birthday Party in Columbus, GA--June 4-5

On Saturday June 4th, we drove to Columbus, GA to see our friends, The Koagel's!  It's been about 8 months since we've seen the entire family and we were excited to get to hang out again!  We also got to see Susie's sister, a UF Dental grad, and Tony's sister, who has two adorable girls, and their niece and nephew whom we've know since dental school.  We spend Saturday afternoon hanging out at their pool and eating delicious pizza and spent Saturday night at a hotel close by so we could return the next day for Gabby's Little Mermaid 4th birthday party!

There was face painting and tatoos...
and lots of outdoor activities to play!  Lauren and Fia playing side by side.

This is "Ariel's Beach"  and all the kids loved playing in the cool sand area.
"Look at my tattoo, Uncle Tony!"

Sweet Fia
Lauren sitting like a big girl.  She actually wasn't herself the entire party not wanting to play too much, kinda clingy, and would whine every once in a while.  We soon found out why...constipation had returned.  We haven't had this problem in a while (starting Soy Milk and pure pressed AJ has been a life saver) but I think with all of the driving and sitting, she couldn't go to the bathroom.  So, we gave her a suppository during the party.  I guess you could say that she was a little "party pooper" and wasn't able to be her normal self: playful, loving to be outside especially while playing in water!
Gabby had the neatest party and had lots of friends there to celebrate with her.  They even had a scavenger hunt at the end where each child got 2 toy prizes!  Genius!

Lauren was finally able to join in with the big kids at the end as I think she was feeling better.  Thank you, Gabby, for inviting us to your awesome birthday party!!!  We had a lot of fun and can't wait to play with you, Fia, and Baby David again!

On the morning of Gabby's party, we went by a pet store to have a short bit of fun!  Wow!  Cheap entertainment for sure!  Lauren could have stayed there for hours looking at the cats and fish alone!

Her absolute favorite were the fish.  "ish" as she says.  We have plans to go to Orlando in a week; hopefully we can take time to go to Sea World!
