I'm behind...again! The middle of holiday season has kept this mama away from blogging lately, so I will try to catch up quickly! Lauren is hanging in there with us and continues to be such a fun little girl to watch grow. She usually has tons of smiles to share with us throughout the day and is my sweet "little buddy".I remembered that we were given this bouncer as a gift and decided to see if Lauren would like it. And she does...but only for 3-4 minutes at a time! ha. Too much work for a little girl, but it is so cute to watch her in it.
Saturday, we were supposed to take Lauren to the last home FSU game, but I decided against it at the very last minute. The forecast showed showers and I thought that we shouldn't risk having her out in the rain. But wouldn't you know...it didn't rain at all!!! Now that I know that this game was Bobby's last home ballgame, I'm so very sad LEB didn't make her Doak Campbell debut this year! We spent Saturday afternoon at birthday parties. First, we went to cousin Addison's 1st birthday party. Addison is such a sweet and pretty little girl and the decorations were a "hoot"! :-) The theme of her party was owls; it was adorable. Lauren has gotten used to seeing the red light come on when I take pictures of her. Here she is trying to reach for the camera. Can you tell she's used to having her picture taken?
Monday was picture day with Aunt Kim and Danielle! They came down to Panama City to take Christmas Card pictures for Eric's office staff (I thought it would be cute to include Lauren in their picture with her matching red dress) and our family picture. We had a great time and the weather was perfect. Lauren wasn't full of smiles; she had not taken her morning nap. BUT, she didn't cry so I was very satified with that!
