Like always, we spent the 4th of July weekend at Crystal Lake. It was a beautiful, hot weekend and Lauren had a lot of fun playing in the sand and water.

Watching fireworks with Pops and Gigi. Lauren really liked the fireworks this year and paid attention! There's no picture, but she sat with me on a blanket in the sand for the end of the fireworks show and it was so sweet and special to this pregnant mama. :-)

When we got home from the lake, she didn't wait for me to sit in her reading chair. She grabbed her favorite book ("Pinkalicious"), bunny, and a blanket and started reading to herself after bath time. :-)
