Eric celebrated his birthday this week. Lauren and I had a birthday lunch with Eric and his staff and Aunt Mel came to Panama City that night to visit with Lauren so that we could have a date night and go out-to-eat. We had not been out by ourselves this since the night before Lauren was born...oh wait, Kaitlin was with us that night! :-) Thank you Aunt Mel for watching Lauren for us.
We spent the rest of the week taking it easy and resting after our trip to Orlando. Friday night, we drove to Chipley to spend the night at Gigi and Pops' house so that we would be there bright and early, ready to go to the FSU game. Grandma and Pa kept Lauren for us so that we could go to the very HOT and sad FSU game that started at 11 am. It never feels right to tailgate with blueberry muffins, eggs, and sausage biscuits. 11 am games should never happen.
On Sunday, we went to Bailey Melzer's reception for her dedication at church. Lauren "played" with Bailey and Anna and met Vivian and Noah. They were so cute together. All the girls are within 4-5 months in age.
Sunday night, we celebrated Eric's birthday with our families. Lauren enjoyed being held and talked to by all of her relatives and got to meet her Uncle Tyler's fiance, Randi.
We are looking forward to spending next weekend with Aunt Kay as Daddy is going fishing in Mississippi and Gigi and Pops will be in Boston trying to help the 'Noles win.
