The American Academy of Pediatric Dentists recommends that children start to see their dentist at 1 year old. So on June 29th, we booked an appointment with the best looking kids dentist we could find!
He put on the gloves to make it "official". Lauren wasn't quite sure of the entire visit but she didn't hate it.
And we're happy to report: No Cavities! :-)
Playing in the playroom at Dada's office.
Emily gave Lauren this keyboard for her birthday and she LOVES it! We take it everywhere we go now!
We started swim lessons this week at Mosley Pool. It is a two week infant class taught by the American Red Cross. More pictures to follow from the 2nd week. The goal is to learn how to blow bubbles, kick feet, and enjoy floating on her back. Regardless if we reach the goals or not, we're lookin' good trying! Flip-flops, swimsuit given by Cindy Caroline and CoverUp. We had all our swim ensemble covered!!
On Tuesday night, Eric and Lauren had a play date at home while I went to Chipley for our semi-annual Wells Belles! It was at Aunt Madalene's house this time and I loved every minute of it! One of my favorite things to do all year long. We missed Marley (she was at LSU) and Nancy (who was with Uncle Walt in Oregon).
I walked in the playroom one day and found her like this! "AAAAAHHHHH" says Mommy. "hi" says Lauren.
Practicing walking with her new baby and stroller. She loves it!
Pops and Aunt Kay being silly at Crystal Lake.
We went to Crystal Lake for the 4th of July weekend and had a great time. Lauren continued to sleep in the crib that we positioned in the bathroom with the bathroom fan on. Seriously, the best place to put her. White noise, total darkness (we do use a night light)...she never knows when the sun comes up! It's perfect!
Valerie and James had their Annual Luau that weekend. It's always a lot of fun to get together across the lake.

Sweet Lauren and Dada
Jackson! I really like your hat! You're stylin'!
This little slide was worth the $12. She will start to climb up the steps and wait for you to help her. She loves it!
Taking a ride on the jet ski. This was the first weekend that we let her go all the way around the lake. Aunt Kay said that she was very calm and waved at all the boats that went by.
Tim and Bella taking shelter out of the rain.
Happy 4th of July!
Kaitlin turned 19 on July 5th. Thus, her 19th birthday party at Crystal Lake. :-)
Photo shoot with mommy and Aunt Kay.
"Oh guys, seriously! I am tired and hungry. Just stop it!"
"Okay, I'll sit here."
"That's it...I'm leaving!"
