We returned from Christmas weekend and started our week. We are both working 4 days this week. I usually just work 2 days/week but am covering for a PA while he is on vacation. Lauren spent the night with Gigi on 12/28 so that we could go out for our 8th Anniversary! We enjoyed a non-rushed meal at Longhorn's and then a movie at Pier Park. We were home by 9:30...ha! Crazy parents! ha!
When I went to pick Lauren up the next afternoon after work, she was walking outside with Gigi. The 1st thing I noticed were her pink painted fingernails! Aunt Kay had painted them and they made her look so growny! When we got home, Eric just stared at them. He didn't really smile but said "I don't think I'm ready for this..."

I worked on Monday to cover for someone on vacation, so Eric spent the day with Lauren. They went over to Bailey's house for a play date and Lauren LOVED playing with B's new piano! So cute!

Lauren was watching Eric through the door while he was grilling, so she went to get her spatula from the play kitchen and came back to the door and motioned to go outside. The Little Helper...
On New Year's Eve, we went shopping in Destin with Aunt Kay.
It was a BEAUTIFUL day!
That night, Lauren had spend the night company! Anna and Lauren stayed with Miss Heather while we parent's went out to eat at Firefly and then to a New Year's Eve party at the beach!

We had a great night and got home at 2am...too bad the babies woke up at their usual time of 7:30am!!
