This must be a very important and serious phone call! Notice the sippy cup in her purse. :-) I guess she's seen me talk on the phone once or twice! :-)

On Saturday May 14, we started phase 1 of our move. Although it's not the best time in the world, we have a 6 day vacation planned to The Abaco Islands in the Bahamas next week. When we booked the trip in the Fall, we had NO idea that we would be buying a house AND be pregnant! We've been unable to move into the new house because of timing of quotes, paint progress, and carpet so we've been living in the Airport Road house and helping to progress the new house as we could. But, we just went on with our plans and organized as best we could over these past 2 weeks by packing and gradually moving things into the attic at the new house. Anyway, we had great help from family on move day (Gigi, Pops, Grandma, Pops, Aunt Helen, Gabe, Stacie, and the 4 boys) and Miss Heather came to take Lauren on a field trip for the first few hours. We moved everything out of the house into trailers except for our mattress, dresser, hanging clothese and LEB's crib and a few clothes. We even packed up all of her toys! She didn't seem to mind though and helped move things into the trailer. Such a big girl. We plan to "camp out" in the old house for 2 nights before leaving for Abaco on Monday night and hope that the paint and carpet will be done while we're away. When we return, we'll have 3 nights to finish moving before have to be out before the next renter moves in! May is going to fly by! (Or at least I hope it does)
On the night of our move, we went to "Mystique at the Martin", a murder mystery play sponsored by The Jr. Service League. It was an exhausting day, but well worth going and being with friends. And, Eric's office was a sponsor for the event and was called on stage to be part of the show impromptu (I knew about it, but he didn't!) We also hung out with a lot of the Wells Belles! No pictures of this, but Mrs. Penny Lovett hosted a pre-play gathering at her house and it was so nice!

Even though we're not sleeping in our new house yet, it doesn't mean that we haven't started enjoying the pool! It's amazing how warm the water is! It's awesome!
Lauren obviously loves the water and we're scheduled to take a 2 week swim course at our house with Mr. Bill (supposedly the "swim whisperer").
